As some of you may know, I have the great honor of being an affiliate volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a non-profit organization that provides remembrance portraits for families suffering the loss of a baby. I meet the most amazing families through my work for the organization.
Recently I was able to capture remembrance portraits for the N family. The family lost one of their twins, their son Clinton, shortly after delivery. The family was able to spend several hours with Clinton and his surviving twin sister Julianna before he passed. Those moments are something that will be remembered and treasured for a lifetime for this sweet family.
A few weeks ago, Clinton’s sister Julianna came to my Castle Rock studio so I could photograph her debut and continue to honor her twin brother. It was really touching to get to know this sweet family better, capture Julianna’s beautiful smile, and honor her brother Clinton as well. Thank you Megan and Clint for sharing both of your beautiful children with me, and allowing me to share your story as well.
