The fall in Colorado is stunning – no doubt about that. The Tyl family wanted color and the beauty of Colorado to be a big part of their family portraits. Fortunately we only had to look a few miles from their home to find this breathtaking view and gorgeous fall color! I had so much fun with them during their session, and Lynn even said afterwards that her images reminded her of the ones you find in a purchased frame! The best part of this session was getting to spend time with this sweet family. Lynn is a friend as well as my bookkeeper (she owns Down to the Decimal Bookkeeping here in Castle Rock – she’s THE best!!), and so it was a double-honor getting to capture her gorgeous family. We met by chance years ago when she and her family had just moved to Colorado from Arizona. We hit it off and bonded over our love of red wine and late night laughter. I’m so grateful for her friendship (and how she keeps my books in check, hee hee)!
