This has been such an awesome summer of newborns – my biggest year yet for wee ones I have to say. These tiny little ones are so amazing to capture, and I feel truly fortunate that brand new parents in all their newness entrust me with their tiny little bundles. It’s an absolute joy and honor capturing them in my Castle Rock studio!
Sweet little Evan and his parents (and grandparents and auntie!) came to see me when he was just a few days old. He slept almost the entire session except when we did the family portraits and he just wanted to take everybody in. I love getting a few sweet shots of open eyes – the wonder and sparkle and freshness is swoon-worthy! And honestly, can we TALK about that hair?! And those lashes? I gave birth to two baldies myself, so it’s a fun little treat to get these babies in with full heads of hair — I love it!

This grandma so enjoyed getting to be part of the photo shoot. You are not only an amazing photographer but so much fun as well. Your manner with adults and babies is great to watch. I love all the photos but the ones with Evan’s eyes taking in everything are precious. Thank you so much! PS: Thanks for making this grandma look younger too! 🙂
