Finding JOY.

This last year happened in a  blink. For me personally 2018 was my year of JOY. The word JOY constantly came into my life last year, over and over, in words, actions, new and old friends, so many beautiful babies, my family, in so many miles run, music heard, glasses clicked, love shared, loss grieved. The joy kept finding me. Yes, even in the grief, I found joy. (And my side note – I will miss you Tiffany, and am grateful for the joy you brought to my life since day 1). I ran hundreds of miles this past year. 100s. I found joy in that strength (and ran my first 10K). My husband and my boys brought me immeasurable joy – in big moments (like our epic trip to New York City) and small moments (like pulling into the driveway after driving 26 hours home from New York City – ask me about that one next time you’re in my studio folks!). I am grateful for that continued reminder of joy in my life. And I can’t wait to see what word reveals itself to me for 2019. Courage happens to be the front runner and I’m grateful for that.

As a tribute to my joyful year, I’m sharing some of my most joyful images from this past year. Not all of them. That would take me forever. But a selection of my favorites – images that bring me JOY. I hope you had a joyful 2018, and that 2019 finds you full of more joy and a whole lot of courage, too.

xo,

Amy
