This lovely family recently welcomed their second daughter, and it was a joy to document their love, connection, and excitement during this special chapter.
From the moment this lovely family stepped into my studio, the love between them was undeniable. Baby Tatum, just days old, was an absolute dream to photograph—sleepy, snuggly, and oh-so-perfect. Her tiny fingers, soft baby cheeks, and peaceful expressions were enough to melt anyone’s heart. These are the fleeting details I love capturing most during a newborn session.
But one of the most special parts of Tatum’s newborn session was watching her big sister, Bailey, interact with her. Bailey was absolutely smitten with her new baby sister. She held her gently, smiled with so much pride, and even snuck in a few kisses while I clicked away. As a Castle Rock newborn photographer who has photographed many growing families, it never gets old witnessing that first sibling bond beginning to blossom.
We styled the session with soft neutral tones, and a few pops of lavender and blue—classic, timeless, and oh-so-beautiful for a baby girl.
