I have amazing clients. Real people, real families, sharing their love for each other with me in every session I do. It is an honor when a family welcomes me into their lives to document their most beautiful moments together. It is one of the many things about my job that I love so much. The O family is no exception. If anything, they have become more than clients, they have become friends.
Justin and Kate welcomed their much anticipated son Jake in June of last year. Immediately Kate called me for newborn portraits. She then continued to book sessions for him every 3 months, documenting his changing face, hairline, moods, smile, everything. I got to witness his year of life first hand, such a joy and such an honor.
A few weeks ago Jake turned one. We celebrated his first year of life with a beautiful portrait session, much of which Kate helped direct and create. They arrived at the session with the most amazing first birthday cake I’ve ever seen – baseball themed – and she continued that theme with several other matching additions including the adorable baseball themed diaper cover and birthday hat. So many delightful details I think the images will speak louder than my words…
