Castle Rock Photographer | What I Did On My Summer Vacation…

Why I photographed families of course!  Whenever I find myself traveling back “home” to Texas (born and raised but haven’t lived there in 16 years, so thus the quotation marks) I love to set aside some time for mini-portrait sessions for friends and family who are interested.  It allows me to see old friends and meet their sweet families.  It allows me to re-explore the place I grew up and see it in a whole new light.  It allows me to try out Texas light versus Colorado light.  Ah heck, it allows me to do what I love the most in the world – capture love in a moment.

Thank you to each of the families who allowed me to be a part of your world for just a short while this past summer.  It was so much fun to see you all, catch up, meet your little ones, and be in the warm comfort of “home” for just a bit.
